This is what I’m working on right now.
The answer is Node.js and websockets loading different clips into a browser from a locally stored repository, which is controlled more or less by any old tablet. Tablet and main rep have the same video storage hierarchy - HI STORAGE ISSUES - which then are pulled up by the “web” app. Which is no such thing, it’s just more convenient to use a browser for those of us who are le discomfort with other types of application development.
I’d welcome a primer on other ways to do this, if anyone’s listening.
